According to Baldoni’s legal team, he continued the discussion, leading Lively to make another humorous comment: “Oh dear no. He owes me much more than that as a joke!” Then, it is claimed that Baldoni touched his heart, closed his eyes, and stated, “This morning, when I was leaving my apartment, I found $40 in my pocket that I didn’t put there.
Legal representatives for Lively claim this exchange was deeply upsetting to her, contradicting Baldoni’s explanation that his actions were just an expression of prayer for her father.
The revised lawsuit report further elaborates on the significant emotional strain that the legal case has caused for Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and their kids.
