Actress Lively filed a lawsuit against Jane The Virgin star Baldoni, claiming sexual harassment and launching a malicious online campaign to tarnish her reputation. According to documents obtained by People magazine, the lawsuit alleges that Baldoni viewed Lively as an object of desire.

She asserted that the actor kept the cast and team waiting for extended periods during the second day of filming, and allegedly wept in her dressing room due to negative comments about Emily Lively’s appearance in social media posts, which were based on photographs taken by paparazzi on set.

In an attempt to make him feel confident, she assured him that she would convincingly portray her character in the photographs, which were taken following the fictitious abuse of her character by her husband.
