Blake Lively Reacts to Justin Baldoni’s Claims of ‘Threatening’ Taylor Swift For Public Support Against Private Texts: ‘Categorically…’

Blake Lively’s legal team countered the allegations against Taylor Swift in the ongoing dispute with Justin Baldoni, stating that they have not applied any form of pressure as claimed by Bryan Freedman, who represents Baldoni on May 14.

According to court records, Freedman allegedly declared that Lively’s lawyers reportedly coerced Swift’s legal team into endorsing Lively by publishing an official statement of support. Furthermore, it was stated by Freedman that Lively supposedly threatened the singer with the disclosure of private messages if her team did not cooperate, as reported by People.

Mike Gottlieb, representing Lively, firmly dismissed the claims, describing them as entirely baseless. In a public release, he stated that the accusations were unsubstantiated, originating from an anonymous source, and detached from reality.

According to Gottlieb, he firmly rejects every one of the accusations that have been dubiously attributed to unknown sources, as they bear no connection to truth or factual evidence.

In response, Gottlieb strongly criticized Baldoni’s group for making unfounded accusations. These charges appear to have been listed in a subpoena requesting records of correspondence. He further mentioned that they will soon submit motions to the court to punish these lawyers for their misbehavior in this case.

As a devoted follower, I want to clarify that in regard to the recent subpoena situation, Taylor Swift’s connection to the film “It Ends With Us” is limited to the fact that she granted permission for her song “My Tears Ricochet” to be included in its soundtrack. The spokesperson swiftly intervened to make this clear.

Additionally, it was mentioned that Taylor Swift, being busy with a world tour, barely found time to watch the film, let alone participate in its scenes. Her representative clarified that she didn’t catch “It Ends With Us” until several weeks after its release, and during 2023 and 2024, she was traveling extensively for her historic global tour.

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s trial goes to court in March 2026.
