Essentially, this pattern involves a woman providing proof of sexual harassment and retaliation, only for the accused to try to shift the blame onto the victim.
They added, “This is what experts call DARVO. Deny. Attack. Reverse Victim Offender.”
The lawsuit initiated by Baldoni, backed by notable PR experts and Wayfarer Studios, asserts that Lively and Reynolds orchestrated a malicious campaign aimed at damaging the project and taking control of its production. The comprehensive 179-page document presents evidence suggesting that the couple leveraged their influence to tarnish the film’s image and exert power over its creation.
In a statement regarding sexual harassment accusations, Lively’s team asserted that “She invited it; it was her fault,” followed by, “In essence, while the victim concentrates on the mistreatment, the offender focuses on the victim. This tactic of blaming the woman is futile; it does not disprove the evidence presented in Ms. Lively’s claim, and it will ultimately fall short.
