Blake Lively recently shared a glimpse of her family’s holiday festivities with her fans. On Sunday, she posted a photo on Instagram featuring her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and their four children: James, Inez, Betty, and Olin.
The post showed a warm and cheerful family day. Lively, 38, shared photos of herself enjoying treats like hot cookies and ice-cold milk, playing Mahjong, and watching the latest season of Fixer Upper with Chip and Joanna Gaines. She captioned it, “Nothing better…family, hot cookies, iced cold milk (yes, with ice, if you know, you know)!”
She described her perfect day as cozy and delightful: a warm fire, a game of Mahjong, a glittery water bottle reminiscent of Britney Spears, a snowy landscape, and a new season of her favorite show, Fixer Upper. That’s what makes her happy.

Even with the holidays, Lively has been working on her beauty company, Blake Brown Beauty, and handling legal issues related to her 2023 movie, It Ends With Us.
The actress has filed a complaint with California authorities, claiming she experienced s harassment from the film’s director and actor, Justin Baldoni. According to reports from TMZ and The New York Times, after she spoke to Baldoni about it, he reportedly hired a public relations firm to try and damage her credibility.
Many public figures showed support for Lively, including author Colleen Hoover, her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants co-stars Amber Tamblyn, America Ferrera, and Alexis Bledel, and actors Gwyneth Paltrow and Amy Schumer. Both SAG-AFTRA and Sony Pictures also expressed their support.
Following Blake Lively speaking out, many journalists and actresses – like Kate Beckinsale and Abigail Breslin – came forward with their own accounts of experiencing inappropriate behavior while working on film sets.
Baldoni sued The New York Times for $250 million, alleging the reporting contained false and misleading information. Subsequently, Lively filed a federal lawsuit against Baldoni, stemming from the same issues raised in her original civil rights complaint. Baldoni responded by filing a $400 million counterclaim against both Lively and Reynolds, accusing them of defamation, extortion, and violating his privacy.
In June, Judge Lewis J. Liman rejected parts of Baldoni’s lawsuit, finding that Taylor Swift’s claims of s harassment were legally protected speech. The judge did allow Baldoni to revise some arguments related to business contracts. Swift’s initial complaint is scheduled to go to trial in March 2026. In August, she also asked the court to order Baldoni to pay her legal fees and costs, arguing that Baldoni’s defamation suit was without merit.
Despite her current legal issues, Lively appears to be prioritizing family time. She recently shared a photo on Instagram of herself, Reynolds, and their kids enjoying a cozy and relaxed holiday season.
