As reported by Variety, Black Mandala Films has recently acquired the distribution rights for a chilling new horror movie called ‘Play Dead.’

This upcoming movie, helmed by director Carlos ‘Charly’ Goitia, is set to deliver an exhilarating contribution to the horror genre. With a track record that includes ‘Nightmare Radio: The Night Stalker’ and ‘The Game of 100 Candles: The Last Possession,’ Goitia infuses his distinctive style into this chilling production.

Amidst a chilling atmosphere filled with gruesome sights, the character Alison, played skillfully by Paula Brasca, is introduced in ‘Play Dead’.

In a perilous predicament, Alison is badly hurt, confined within a dark basement filled with lifeless bodies. To stay alive, she has to ingeniously blend in by pretending to be one of the deceased amongst them.

The situation becomes more complex when she uncovers a disturbing, ritualistic event taking place in the house upstairs, causing every second to be potentially dangerous.

This movie integrates aspects from renowned horror flicks such as ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ and ‘Don’t Breathe’, creating a gripping atmosphere of dread and chilling visuals, resulting in a terrifyingly memorable horror tale.
