The film was a collaboration between Darkroom Records, Interscope Films, and Lightstorm Entertainment. Billie Eilish first mentioned the project during her concerts in Manchester over the summer, suggesting she was working with James Cameron on a 3D experience. She told the audience she couldn’t reveal much, but confirmed it would be something ‘very, very special’ in 3D.
This new documentary builds on Billie Eilish’s previous filmmaking work, like R.J. Cutler’s Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry and her concert film Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles. Eilish just finished her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour with a final concert in San Francisco.
Audiences can look forward to a captivating 3D movie that feels like being at a live concert, and also includes exclusive footage from one of her most iconic tours.
