As a dedicated follower, I can’t help but express my excitement about the current season of Big Brother – Season 27. In just three weeks, we’ve already witnessed some significant game changes! Three HouseGuests, Isaiah ‘Zae’ Frederich, Amy Bingham, and Adrian Rocha, have been sent packing from the house. The season started with an intriguing murder mystery hotel theme, and to add a twist, returning winner Rachel Reilly made her appearance. So far, we’ve seen competitions, secret powers, and moves that no one saw coming! I can hardly wait to see what else this season has in store for us!
Week 1: Zae sent home in a close vote
The initial phase kicked off with sixteen fresh Housemates, later accompanied by Rachel Reilly. These individuals were subsequently divided into two teams for their inaugural challenge tasks. Eventually, Vince Panaro emerged victorious in the first Head of Household competition, following a test involving a puzzle and a hunt.
Vince put up Amy, Ashley, and Zae for possible elimination. Ashley, having won the Power of Veto (POV), chose to save herself. Kelley then stepped in as the replacement nominee. During the ‘Ransom Note’ competition, Kelley managed to secure a safety prize, which allowed her to remove herself from the nominations. This left Amy and Zae as the final nominees. On the 10th day, by a vote of 9-5, Zae was evicted, making him the first contestant to leave the competition this season.
Week 2: Amy evicted unanimously
Jimmy Heagerty was chosen as the new Head of Household following his victory in the BB Break-In challenge. He chose Adrian, Keanu, and Kelley for possible eviction. However, Keanu utilized his Mystery Competitor power, resulting in Big Brother winner Kaycee Clark joining the competition on his behalf. In the end, Kaycee won the POV, which led to Keanu being removed from the nomination list.
After Jimmy put forward Amy’s name for nomination, Kelley utilized her Secret Veto ability, triumphed in an individual contest, and stepped down from the block. Will took her place as the alternate nominee. In the ‘Puzzling Prints’ Block Buster challenge on day 17, Adrian secured immunity. On this same day, Amy was expelled following a unanimous vote of 13-0.
Week 3: Adrian becomes third evictee
In the third week, Lauren Domingue was chosen as Head of Household (HOH) following her victory in the Twin Witness News competition. She then selected Keanu, Kelley, and Will for elimination. Keanu used his Basement Break-In Veto power to save himself, so Adrian was chosen as a replacement nominee.
In a contest called “Study the Study,” Kelley emerged victorious again. The top two contenders were Adrian and Will. However, on the 24th day, it was Adrian who was ousted following a 8-4 vote.
Here’s who’s left in the house
In Big Brother 27, there are fourteen contestants left: Vince Panaro, Mickey Lee, Ava Pearl, Cliffton ‘Will’ Williams, Rylie Jeffries, Morgan Pope, Kelley Jorgensen, Ashley Hollis, Zach Cornell, Jimmy Heagerty, Rachel Reilly, Keanu Soto, Lauren Domingue, and Katherine Woodman. With various surprises, hidden powers, and alliances yet to unfold, the competition is expected to take unexpected turns in the forthcoming weeks.
