Beyonce’s Bey GOOD Foundation Donates Large Sum To LA Fire Relief Funds; ‘We Stand With You’

Beyoncé is providing aid for those severely impacted by the Los Angeles fires, as her charity, BeyGOOD, declared a $2.5 million contribution to the Los Angeles Fire Relief Fund on their Instagram channel, dated January 12.

The message read, ‘We stand with Los Angeles,’ as they announced a fund to help families whose homes were destroyed in the Altadena/Pasadena region. Additionally, this fund will make sure that local churches and community centers have sufficient resources to care for those affected by the wildfires.

2. Since the disaster began on January 7, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has noted a rise in the number of fatalities, as reported recently.

16 individuals lost their lives due to the Eaton fire, while tragically, 8 people died in the vicinity of the Palisades. As reported by the Los Angeles Fire Department, the Palisades blaze scorched over 23,000 acres with a control rate of 11%.

In addition to Beyoncé, famous personalities such as Tika Sumpter, Halle Berry, and Eva Longoria have contributed to aid organizations. Notably, Eva Longoria donated $50,000 to the group This Is About Humanity and posted an emotional video on Instagram about it.
