Beyoncé to Headline Halftime of Ravens-Texans NFL Christmas Gameday on Netflix; Details HERE

As a fan who has been following Beyoncé’s career since Destiny’s Child days, I can confidently say that this Christmas is shaping up to be nothing short of legendary! With her halftime performance for the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens Christmas game on Netflix, it feels like I’ve been given an early gift.

This Christmas promises to be action-packed for Beyoncé, as Netflix revealed her as the halftime entertainer for the Houston Texans versus Baltimore Ravens Christmas game. For the very first time, Netflix will broadcast an NFL Christmas Day Game live from NRG Stadium in Beyoncé’s hometown on December 25. The football match is the second of two games, with the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers in the opening game.

On Instagram, last Sunday, November 17, Beyoncé hinted at an upcoming performance. In the video, she stood on an old car decorated with red roses and equipped with a microphone, singing an a cappella version of her song Cowboy Carter’s opener, American Requiem. Beyoncé is 43 years old.

Following the football catch by her, the camera zooms in for a tight shot on the singer, clad in patriotic garb and donning a white cowboy hat. Subsequently, a title revealing information about the impending performance unfolds across the screen.

Despite limited information about her performance, it’s anticipated that Beyoncé will invite artists who appear on the previously mentioned album to join her on stage. The production of this event will be handled by both Parkwood Entertainment and Jesse Collins Entertainment.

News broke that Beyoncé will be performing soon, following her achievement as the artist with the most Grammy nominations ever, boasting a total of 99 nods. Previously, this record was held by her spouse, Jay-Z, who garnered 88 nominations from the Recording Academy. Notably, Beyoncé is also the most awarded artist in Grammy history, having won a total of 32 awards.

In the announcement of nominations for the 2025 Grammys, held on November 8, Beyoncé’s most recent album, titled Cowboy Carter, was nominated in a total of 11 categories. She is vying for ‘golden microphones’ across various categories such as Best Country Solo Performance for 16 Carriages, a joint nomination with Miley Cyrus for Best Country Duo/Group Performance under the title II Most Wanted, Best Country Song for Texas Hold ’Em, Best Country Album, Best Americana Performance for YA YA, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance along with Post Malone for Levii’s Jeans.

The 67th Grammy Awards are scheduled for Sunday, February 2.
