As a lifelong fan of both Beyoncé and Pamela Anderson, I must say that this latest music video from Beyoncé is nothing short of genius! The way she seamlessly blends pop culture icons with social activism is truly inspiring. It’s like getting a double dose of awesome – the entertainment value of recreating iconic looks, and the impactful message to vote.
Beyoncé recently released the music video for her single “Bodyguard,” taken from her new album “Cowboy Carter.” In addition to honoring the Halloween spirit by dressing up as Pamela Anderson, she also used this opportunity to encourage people to exercise their right to vote in the upcoming election. Donning Anderson’s signature blonde wig and black dress, Beyoncé made a powerful statement by brandishing a red flag emblazoned with “VOTE!” in bold capital letters.
Additionally, she was observed replicating Baywatch’s Anderson look, yet with a twist – her distinctive red swimsuit bore the word “Beywatch,” a playful reference to the singer’s name. Another iconic outfit from the ’90s show that Beyoncé revisited was the one-piece suit.
During an interview with ET Canada, Anderson shared that she owns one of her suits from the show and occasionally wears it. She mentioned, “I wear it every now and then – it still fits.” The singer paid tribute to Anderson’s character in Barb Wire by dressing up for cosplay. Wearing a fitted leather corset with a deep neckline and black opera gloves, she resembled her outfit at the film’s premiere during the 1995 Cannes Film Festival.
Beyoncé sported an ensemble by designer Anderson, the same outfit she wore to the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards. The style was characterized by a white corset top, sequined trousers, and a fluffy pink hat adorned with feathers – a fashion statement that made waves in the industry during that period.

During this event, I also took the stage to deliver a compelling speech about fostering a brighter future for our youth.
Previously, her tune “Freedom” was granted permission for use in Harris’s election campaign video as well as other promotional materials, such as the Democratic National Convention. On November 5th, she posted a picture of herself in character as Anderson on Instagram, accompanied by the caption “LOVE.
