I’m really excited about what Netflix is releasing in November! They’ve got a great mix of brand new shows, returning series I’ve been waiting for, and even some interesting international content. Whether I’m in the mood for historical dramas, true crime, or finally seeing how a long-running story ends, it looks like Netflix has me covered. They’ve highlighted ten shows coming this month, and I’m glad they included details about when each one drops, what it’s about, who made it, and who’s in it – that makes it so much easier to pick what to watch first!
‘Stranger Things’ (2016–2025)

The last season of the show picks up in Hawkins in the fall of 1987, with the group of friends coming back together to face Vecna and finally close the gates to the Upside Down. Netflix will release the final episodes in three parts, starting November 26th. The first part has four episodes, the second arrives on Christmas with three episodes, and a final two episodes will conclude the series on New Year’s Eve. All episodes will be available worldwide at the same time. This season continues the show’s supernatural story, focusing on the main characters and the dangers of the Upside Down, as confirmed by Netflix’s trailers and announcements.
‘Delhi Crime’ (2019– )

Detective Vartika Chaturvedi and her team are back in a new season of this Netflix series, starting November 13th. This time, they’re investigating a complex human-trafficking case that stretches across Delhi, requiring them to work with multiple agencies. The show continues its realistic, case-by-case style, with Shefali Shah leading the investigation as they follow clues through various locations and border crossings. Reports highlight the focus on a well-organized criminal network and the difficult ethical and practical problems it presents for the team. Netflix has confirmed the release date and the storyline’s emphasis on these challenges.
‘The Beast in Me’ (2025)

A new thriller series, coming to Netflix on November 13th, follows a writer struggling with loss who finds unexpected inspiration when a mysterious new neighbor moves in. Starring Claire Danes and Matthew Rhys, the eight-episode show is full of tension and suspicion. You can find details about the story, cast, and the team behind the series – including the showrunner and producers – on Netflix’s website.
‘Death by Lightning’ (2025)

A new four-part Netflix series, debuting November 6th, tells the story of the 1881 assassination of President James A. Garfield. It covers not only the shooting but also the medical errors that followed and the trial of his killer, Charles Guiteau. Starring Michael Shannon and Matthew Macfadyen, the series is based on Candice Millard’s book and focuses on the political climate and medical practices of the time. Netflix has confirmed the details of the series, including its November release date.
‘Last Samurai Standing’ (2025)

This new Netflix series, premiering November 13th, is a live-action adaptation set in Japan’s Meiji era. It centers on Shujiro, a formerly unbeatable samurai who joins a dangerous competition to safeguard his family. The show is based on the acclaimed novel by Shogo Imamura and blends epic historical action with the tension of a survival game. Details about the book’s origins, how the series was made, and the characters are available on Netflix and Tudum.
‘Heweliusz’ (2025)

I’m so excited about this new series coming to Netflix on November 5th! It tells the incredible true story of the Jan Heweliusz ferry sinking back in 1993. It’s not just about the disaster itself, but also about how one captain, even when he wasn’t on duty, fought to find out what really happened and who was responsible. The show follows everything – the terrifying storm, the desperate rescue attempts, and the investigation into why things went so wrong. I’ve seen the cast includes Magdalena Różczka and Michał Żurawski, and Netflix is releasing it worldwide, which is fantastic!
‘The Crystal Cuckoo’ (2025)

A new Netflix thriller series, premiering November 14th, follows a young doctor who receives a heart transplant and journeys to a remote mountain town to discover more about the person who saved her life. As she investigates, she stumbles upon a history of unsolved disappearances and a tragic event from the past. Based on the novel by Javier Castillo, the series stars Clara Merlo and explores the secrets held by the town’s residents.
‘The Vince Staples Show’ (2024–2025)

The second season of the show from the Long Beach rapper returns to Netflix on November 6th. It continues the story with a mix of realistic moments and imaginative detours. The new episodes begin after a family loss and center around a road trip with Vince’s mother and sister, featuring more music and unusual, everyday adventures. Netflix and music publications have announced the release date, number of episodes, and a summary of what to expect in the new season.
‘Broadchurch’ (2013)

All three seasons of this popular British crime drama become available on November 1st. The series follows detectives Alec Hardy and Ellie Miller as they investigate the death of a young boy, an event that disrupts life in a small coastal town in Dorset. Later seasons cover the aftermath of the investigation, including a trial and a separate case involving sexual assault, with the story constantly shifting suspicion between the town’s residents and visitors. Information about the show, its location, and the people behind it is widely available in official sources.
‘Minx’ (2022)

This funny series, set in 1970s Los Angeles, arrives on Netflix November 4th with both seasons ready to watch. It follows the story of a sincere feminist and a determined publisher as they team up to create a new erotic magazine, facing challenges from both society and the publishing world. Knowing the show’s past and how it aired in the U.S. before explains why all two seasons are now available to stream.
