Enduring Spirit
It’s beneficial to master this defensive technique early since you’ll inevitably encounter numerous attacks. The adversaries are swift and can string together lengthy combos. Although they may not instantly eliminate you with a few strikes, they will deal damage. So, why not utilize the opportunity to accumulate spirit charge? Each strike contributes towards a full charge, even though one hit won’t grant a complete point.
Opportunistic Spirit
The Dodge feature on the Brink Dodge isn’t as beneficial as the Brink Guard, but it’s crucial for evading incoming attacks and is an essential component of your defensive arsenal. As you’ll be using this move frequently, the Opportunistic Spirit skill will gradually fill up spirit charges with each successful dodge.
Berserk Spirit
To put it simply, Berserk Spirit boosts the spirit gained per attack, regardless of the damage type. This makes it crucial if you plan to employ various active weapon skills. Particularly beneficial for those wielding spears or dual-wielding due to their quick attacks and extended combos.
Brutal Attack: Execution
Enhancing the Brutal Attack with an appropriate finishing animation makes it even deadlier. This special move can only be used when your attack truly defeats the enemy, which is typical for Brutal Attacks. In addition to dealing more damage, you’ll also receive a spirit charge upon execution.
Brutal Attack: Reap
Among my preferred abilities is this one, as it allows you to recover some health when executing a fierce frontal assault. Once you’ve weakened an opponent, particularly following a successful Brink Guard maneuver, you can replenish your health by launching a Brutal Frontal Attack. This is crucial since you can’t restore your health by sneakily attacking from behind and then recovering health in that scenario.
Javelin Charge
In summary, for a higher damage output with your Javelin, utilize the Javelin Charge. By holding down the throw button, you can enhance the attack. This tactic is ideal for taking down tougher opponents without engaging in close combat directly. However, be aware that using the Javelin Charge depletes an extra Spirit Charge, but it’s definitely beneficial when a single throw can significantly diminish a heavy enemy’s health bar.
These skills are quite handy and will streamline your work hours. If you find any skill unnecessary, just click the “Unlearn” button to regain your skill points. The First Berserker Khazan offers great adaptability in this guard, enabling you to modify your character’s attributes quickly. You can also adjust your stats using a conveniently obtainable item.
