While other characters might specialize in dealing more damage or providing better support, Alvida is a well-rounded choice for any team. This guide will show you the best way to improve her skills and stats as you level her up.
Best Skills For Alvida
Alvida’s character has a variety of attack-focused abilities you can unlock. However, there are a few crucial skills that really make her stand out as a damage dealer, and you should focus on getting those first.
Navigator’s Path
This path offers valuable upgrades, and the best approach is to prioritize them in a certain order. Focusing on the right side will significantly improve Alvida’s support abilities by giving her access to helpful buffs like Power and Retaliation. It’s especially important to unlock Spiritual Stamina early on – it’s found within the Words of Support skill in the first tier.
While Roar of Death isn’t a particularly strong ability, Thirst for Blood – which grants Rage when you land a finishing blow – is a very valuable skill to acquire quickly.
If you’re deciding which upgrade to take for Posture Improvements, increasing your critical hit chance both times is the better choice. It works especially well with Fencing Weapons.
The ultimate skill, Avatar of Destruction, is incredibly helpful in the game. After reaching level 30, you should prioritize unlocking it for Alvida.
Fencing Weapons
This section focuses on essential skills, so let’s discuss which ones you can delay learning – they won’t be very helpful as you progress.
- Long Blade Coating is nice, but doesn’t exactly shine until you reach the harder fights of the late-game. You can neglect this until then quite comfortably.
- Master Duelist and Battle Master are three percent increases in damage and only some of the time. These are easy to ignore.
When improving your Weapon Skill and moving to the next tier, we suggest choosing either a lower Action Point cost or increased effectiveness at breaking enemy shields when they’re already bleeding.
You can safely put off working on this skill tree until you’ve unlocked the most important skills in each level – specifically, those that give Alvida helpful buffs and debuffs. However, once you do have those core skills, prioritize upgrading Killing Touch and Double Blow as quickly as possible.
Alvida’s Path
Alvida’s skill path offers many useful combinations, and you can generally postpone upgrading a few less effective skills until later in the game.
Okay, so as soon as you unlock Alvida, I really recommend getting Stun and Opportunistic – they work brilliantly together. Execution is okay, but honestly, you can usually skip it; it doesn’t come up that often. But Ambush? That’s amazing! It boosts all of Alvida’s effects that cause Bleeding, so grab that as soon as you start focusing on Bleeding builds. And if you’re building Alvida with Dodge gear, Naut Agility is a huge help – it really makes her shine!
Okay, so as a big Alvida fan, let me tell you, if you’re loading her up with powerful gear and especially good magical defense, definitely grab the ‘By Chance’ skill! It seriously keeps her alive so much longer than other characters. If you’re not focusing on that build right away, it’s not a huge deal to pick it up later – there are other skills that will help you more early on.
Best Attributes For Alvida
If you’re using fencing weapons, focus on increasing Alvida’s Agility first. After that, try to improve her Endurance and Focus equally.

Alvida generally performs well with a Focus of 12, as her abilities don’t require many Action Points. She also benefits from having around 16 Endurance; ideally, your tanks will protect her, and healers can cover any remaining health deficits.
If you have any ability points left over, put them into Perception to increase your critical hit chance. This works really well with her gear and abilities.
