On August 15, Ben Affleck, the famous actor from Gone Girl, had a low-key birthday party at home, spending quality time with his children to commemorate turning 52.
According to a source, “This was precisely what he desired; he preferred not to step out for celebrations,” and his children presented him with gifts instead. The insider found the low-key celebration “adorable.” Furthermore, it was reported that Jennifer Lopez, who is rumored to be estranged from him, visited to extend birthday greetings.
Photos published by Page Six show that Affleck’s former spouse, Jennifer Garner, who is the mother of their children Violet (age 18), Seraphina (age 15), and Samuel (age 12), was also seen visiting Affleck at his temporary home in Brentwood, California.
55-year-old Lopez was spotted at Ben’s temporary dwelling not long after Garner’s visit, as reported by The Daily Mail. These two individuals, for those unaware, have been addressing divorce rumors since early May, which marks two years since their low-key Vegas wedding in July 2022. Known as Bennifer, they later held a grand wedding ceremony in Georgia in the presence of friends and family, following their elopement in Sin City.
On the very same day as Affleck’s birthday, Jennifer Lopez made a solo appearance at the inaugural night of the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. This spectacular event showcased performances by artists like Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, and others. Prior to her visit to the venue, JLo shared pictures of her stunning outfit (Outfit Of The Night), which was a dress from Dior, on Instagram.
Jennifer Lopez dropped by Ben Affleck’s home following his missed appearance at her 55th birthday celebration in the Hamptons on July 24. This visit occurred after she had hosted a Bridgerton-themed party for her loved ones in New York, an event where Affleck was not present.
Based on a tip from an insider to People in August, it appears that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are choosing to go their separate ways, following Affleck’s recent purchase of a new home in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Lopez is also reportedly looking at properties for her own West Coast residence, as she has put the shared 38,000-square-foot house that she and Affleck once called home up for sale.
According to a recent report by Page Six, the actor from Argo is allegedly postponing the divorce filing from Lopez due to her anger and feelings of embarrassment. The Wedding Planner star, as claimed by the source, has not completely come to terms with the idea that their relationship has ended.
