Ben Affleck Back On Set In Los Angeles Two Months After Jennifer Lopez’s Divorce Filing

Ben Affleck is keeping his attention on his work during this time of divorce with Jennifer Lopez. For those who might not be aware, she initiated the legal separation process from the Academy Award recipient on August 20, marking their second wedding anniversary in Georgia, following several months of distance.

On Wednesday, October 9th, according to People, Ben Affleck, aged 52, was spotted on the set of a future project in Los Angeles. Although it’s uncertain which production Affleck was involved with or his role, he was observed adopting autumn style by wearing a vibrant orange plaid shirt over a black T-shirt and jeans during his visit to the set.

Affleck has several projects underway, many of which he manages as a producer through his production company, Artists Equity, alongside longtime friend and collaborator Matt Damon. Recently, in Los Angeles, Affleck was wrapped up filming the sequel to his 2016 action movie The Accountant. Currently, he’s participating in two more films as an actor; one of them is RIP, where Damon, who is now 53 years old, also stars.

A few days prior to Lopez’s divorce filing, it was reported by the mentioned media outlet (citing a source), that Affleck has been tirelessly working because he flourishes when kept busy.

Despite their ongoing divorce proceedings, the former couple, often referred to as Bennifer, appear cordial for the majority of time. They have recently come together on two occasions, primarily due to their shared concern for their extended family. Although they don’t share any children biologically, it is reported that their kids from past relationships get along quite well. Ben Affleck has three children – Violet (18), Seraphina (15), and Samuel (12) – with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, while Jennifer Lopez shares twins Emme and Max with her former husband Marc Anthony.

In September, Affleck and JLo accompanied their kids for a lunch outing, and they too participated in one of their school activities that very month.

Although the family gathering was cordial, there’s speculation about the duo (Lopez and Affleck) moving forward with their divorce. They wish to shield their children from the impact of it. Previously, a source close to Lopez shared with People that they aim to convey amicability to their kids, despite the impending divorce proceedings.

In 2023, Affleck was seen in the movie Air alongside Damon, which was one of Artists Equity’s significant initial productions. Additionally, he made an unacknowledged appearance as Bruce Wayne/Batman in The Flash that year, and in February 2024, he featured in Lopez’s film titled This is Me…Now: A Love Story, which synced with her album of the same name.

In these upcoming films, she will make an appearance – “Unstoppable” and “Kiss of the Spider Woman”, both under Affleck’s production. The first movie had a screening at TIFF not long ago, which was attended by Damon, while Affleck chose to miss it.
