Bella Thorne Accuses Celebrity Big Brother UK’s Mickey Rourke of Physical Abuse on Girls Set: ‘I Had to Beg…’

Actress Bella Thorne publicly accused her co-star Mickey Rourke of abusive behavior during the filming of “Girl (2020)”. According to Thorne, Rourke frequently struck her groin area during filming and intentionally embarrassed her multiple times off-screen.

Previously known Disney Channel actress claimed that Rourke, assigned to work near her knee by grinding metal, repeatedly struck her lower body region instead. She explained this resulted in bruising and labeled working with Rourke as one of her most challenging professional encounters.

She vented on her Instagram Stories, “This unpleasant man. Disgusting. During a scene where I was required to be on my knees with my hands bound behind me, he inappropriately misused a metal grinder intended for my knee cap, instead using it repeatedly on my genitals through my pants.

She stated, “I’d had injuries on my hip bone. Working alongside Mickey was undeniably one of the most challenging encounters in my acting career.

In a subsequent narrative, Thorne detailed her distressing encounter with Rourke. During this instance, she claimed that Rourke intentionally kicked up mud from his motorbike, spraying it onto her as a means of embarrassment, observable to both the cast and crew.

In addition to her role as Shake It Up actress, she declared that she was required to visit him in his trailer individually, attempting to persuade him to continue filming because production heavily depended on his cooperation. Rourke is said to have displayed exceptionally intense fits of anger and refused to film further. However, it was Bella who intervened at this point.

Thorne explained that he ended up pleading on his own in the trailer because the movie wouldn’t have been completed without him, and everyone else’s efforts would’ve been wasted. He wasn’t eager for this task, felt uneasy, but followed the instructions given to him.

Representative from Rourke responded to Thorne’s allegations, indicating that they had no prior knowledge of any grievances (according to Deadline). They denied intentional misconduct and promised full cooperation with any investigation.
