Baz Luhrmann has picked his upcoming project: He will direct a movie titled “Jehanne d’Arc” for Warner Bros. The film narrates the tale of Joan of Arc, a courageous teenager who emerged as a national hero in France. She significantly contributed to the French army’s victory in 1429. Tragically, only two years later, in 1431, she was executed by burning at the stake.
