The 36-year-old horse trainer was arrested for being publicly intoxicated in Weatherford, Texas, early Saturday morning. This happened shortly after news broke that the couple had ended their two-year relationship.

TMZ obtained police reports detailing the incident. While deputies were already handling a traffic stop with Bella, a man named Banuelos walked up to where they were. The officer who arrested Banuelos stated in their report that he was speaking with slurred speech and his eyes were bloodshot and glassy.

According to police, Banuelos said he followed Bella to the parking lot because she’d left her phone at the bar and he was worried about her. The officer noted Banuelos smelled of alcohol. The situation was further complicated by the fact that Banuelos had left his running white truck nearby, with Bella’s dog inside.

During their encounter with officers, Banuelos said he’d had four beers that day. He then didn’t pass a roadside sobriety test, so he was arrested to keep him from driving and to ensure his safety. The police report also noted that he was dating Bella, even though many people believed they had broken up a few weeks earlier.

Banuelos said he wasn’t driving the truck when it went to the bar, explaining that a friend was actually driving, but he wouldn’t tell the officers who it was. He stated he was at home when Bella stopped by briefly before going back to the bar, which made him decide to follow her. Finally, the officer returned Banuelos’ belongings and the truck to Bella, as he asked.
