At a ceremony for Tim Burton’s Hollywood Walk of Fame induction, Winona Ryder and her Beetlejuice 2 co-star Michael Keaton were in attendance. During the event, they both commended Burton and acknowledged his exceptional directing abilities. In a touching speech, Ryder expressed gratitude towards him, saying “Tim, your friendship has been an immense blessing,” while reminiscing about their past, stating, “When I first met you, I was just a peculiar child.”

In addition to portraying the character in The Haunted Mansion, the actress also shared that Burton validated her voice and encouraged her to strengthen her self-assurance, even when facing resistance from conformity.
