As a lifestyle expert who has followed Jax Taylor‘s journey from the very beginning, I must say it’s truly heartening to see him taking such a bold step towards mental health treatment and recovery. It takes immense courage to confront one’s demons head-on, especially when they are as public as his have been.
Based on recent updates from PEOPLE, it appears that Jax Taylor is set to leave the rehabilitation facility he entered at the end of July. A spokesperson for The Valley’s star confirmed to PEOPLE on August 19th that Jax has been in treatment for the past 30 days and will be returning home later this week.
The spokesperson added that this month holds a deep emotional significance for the celebrity, who eagerly anticipates spending quality time with his three-year-old son, Cruz Michael Cauchi, alongside his former spouse, Brittany Cartwright.
In an effort to prioritize my mental wellness, I chose to enter inpatient care, following the accounts shared by PEOPLE on July 30. After enduring a challenging period in my personal life, particularly amidst my separation from my wife and various life complications, I felt it was necessary to seek professional help for an extended healing process.
Apart from returning home, Taylor will resume filming “The Valley” again, as its second season production started earlier this summer according to TMZ. The platform also mentioned that Taylor intends to share his journey of treatment and mental health recovery on the show, so viewers can anticipate a deeply emotional new season.
Additionally, I couldn’t help but delve deeper into the story when Brittany Cartwright, my former idol’s ex-wife, revealed why their union ended. It seemed that my beloved Jax Taylor’s waning interest in our shared passion was one of the key factors that led to their separation.
In late February, the couple, known for their popularity from Vanderpump Rules, declared their separation following nearly five years of marriage that started in 2019.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’d share this: Back in 2015, I crossed paths with my then-partner, and since then, our journey has been beautifully captured on shows like Vanderpump Rules, Jax & Brittany Take Kentucky, and more recently, The Valley. Fast forward to June 29, 2019, we officially tied the knot, and on April 12, 2021, our little bundle of joy entered our world.
We’re eagerly anticipating Taylor’s return to set for a new beginning on the show “The Valley,” which is now in production for its second season. If you missed the first season, it’s streaming on Peacock.
