A fresh set of characters brings new conflict to the story. Ashley Miller and Austin Davis, a recently engaged couple, both work at their country club. Their lives become complicated when they see a disturbing fight between the club manager and his wife. Both couples then try to win over the club’s wealthy owner, Chairwoman Park, who is dealing with her own scandal involving her husband. The story explores a clash between different generations.
The new preview is more intense than the first season, but still really exciting. The first season started with a simple road rage incident that quickly escalated into a full-blown, obsessive rivalry. Lee Sung Jin is back as the showrunner for the second season of this series.
Ali Wong and Steven Yeun were amazing in the first season, and the new cast for the upcoming season looks equally great. Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan are a fantastic pairing, and Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny also have a lot of potential. Isaac, in particular, has already shown he can play intense characters – just think of his role in Frankenstein! Check out the first official photos Netflix has shared below.
