The first images from the upcoming Baywatch reboot on Fox have been released. Photos taken in Venice Beach show the cast – including Stephen Amell, Brooks Nader, Livvy Dunne, and Noah Beck – sporting the show’s iconic red swimsuits.
Photos obtained by Just Jared and Page Six give us our first clear view of the actors filming on a California beach.
I’m really excited to see Robbie Amell taking the lead as Hobie Buchannon! The photos released show the whole new cast looking fantastic in those iconic Baywatch swimsuits – it’s giving me all the nostalgic vibes.
The reboot comes from creator Lara Olsen and is set for the 2026-2027 season.

Stephen Amell Leads The New Baywatch
Stephen Amell plays Hobie Buchannon, the son of the famous Mitch Buchannon from the original Baywatch. The new series shows an adult Hobie, now a Baywatch captain carrying on his father’s legacy.
The series introduces Jessica Belkin as Charlie Vale, the daughter of Hobie’s that he never knew. Her appearance is expected to dramatically change Hobie’s life, as she hopes to continue the Buchannon family tradition and become a Baywatch lifeguard.
A key focus of the show’s revival seems to be the relationship between father and daughter, and recent photos show Stephen Amell filming scenes with some of the younger actors on Venice Beach.

Brooks Nader, Livvy Dunne, Noah Beck Join The Cast
The first-look photos also spotlight some of the new names joining the series.
Brooks Nader will play the character Selene, and Livvy Dunne is cast as Grace. Noah Beck joins the series as Luke. Other actors appearing in the show include Hassie Harrison as Nat, Thaddeus LaGrone as Brad, and Shay Mitchell as Trina, according to IMDb.
The new cast photos show Fox is aiming for a blend of well-known actors, rising stars, and popular social media personalities as they revive Baywatch for a modern audience.

David Chokachi Returns As Cody Madison
One of the bigger callbacks is David Chokachi returning as Cody Madison from the original Baywatch.
In the new version of the show, Cody owns The Shoreline, a popular bar and grill connected to Baywatch. He still occasionally jumps in to perform rescues wearing the iconic red shorts, and also serves as a guide and friend to the current lifeguards.
This connection to the original series, beyond just sharing the Buchannon name, gives the reboot a sense of history and continuity.
