In the game BF6, it seems that we’re witnessing an attack on the U.S. mainland and other NATO territories by a hired military group known as Pax Armata. This suggests that the storyline of the game will not center around a traditional war between countries.

Battlefield 6 is being collaboratively developed by teams from DICE, Criterion, Motive, and Ripple Effect, with Electronic Arts aiming to create an enduring live-service experience similar to what Activision has achieved with Call of Duty, by devoting most of their studios and personnel to this intellectual property.
