The live open beta for Battlefield 6 is now available, offering players a sneak peek into Electronic Arts (EA) and DICE’s next-generation warfare adventure. It maintains the core essence of the Battlefield series, while enhancing gameplay with quicker responses and an abundance of playable content compared to previous versions. During this beta phase, you can explore only three maps, but the final game will feature a total of nine, some of which we had the chance to try during our Battlefield 6 preview.
In this rundown, we’ll dissect each Battlefield 6 map available during the open beta testing, and outline the maps that will be accessible at the game’s official launch on October 10.
All Battlefield 6 open beta maps – BF6
In the ongoing Battlefield 6 open beta, there are just three maps accessible for gameplay. Yet, these maps effectively demonstrate the capabilities of each of Battlefield 6’s current game modes.
Siege of Cairo
The heart of Cairo, marked by its historic siege, is its most renowned landmark, where explosions create deep pits in the thoroughfares, offering covert approaches to adversaries. The central artery, lined on both sides with buildings, is a perpetual torrent of gunfire – a condition we embrace wholeheartedly.
Iberian Offensive
In this new map, referred to as the Iberian Offensive, you’ll find a setting reminiscent of populated areas, with some building designs bearing resemblance to those in Cairo. However, unlike Cairo, this map is specifically set in Gibraltar, offering a unique warzone experience. The map layout features expansive open spaces on its sides, which lends itself well to sniping strategies.
Liberation Peak
Among the beta maps, Liberation Peak stands out as the unique one with helicopters and jets, quickly earning favor among early enthusiasts. The hilly terrain also catches the eye of skilled snipers. With ample room for vehicle combat, this map offers a lot of open area. However, infantry can move stealthily between settlements and buildings to ensure their safety as well.

At the press and creator preview event, certain maps were made available for play. However, if you’d like to try these maps out yourself, you’ll need to be patient until October 10, as that’s when they will officially launch worldwide.
