Okay, so Battlefield 6 is finally here, and even though we’re still waiting for Season One and that battle royale mode everyone’s hyped about, I’ve gotta say, the game is a blast so far. There are nine multiplayer maps right now, and they’re really well done. Some are huge and open, perfect for vehicle combat, while others are tighter and broken up, which makes for some seriously intense close-quarters battles. I’m having a lot of fun exploring them all!
This game offers a great mix of gameplay styles and is getting even more content very soon. We’re providing a detailed guide to all the multiplayer maps available now, helping you develop winning tactics for each one.
All multiplayer maps in BF6 at launch
These are all nine maps available to play in Battlefield 6 at launch.
Siege of Cairo
The central area of Cairo is the game’s most recognizable location, now scarred by bomb craters that players can use to their advantage for stealth. The main street, lined with buildings on both sides, is a chaotic battleground of constant gunfire – and that’s exactly how we designed it.
Iberian Offensive
The new Iberian Offensive map, like Cairo, features a city environment with familiar building designs. However, it’s located in Gibraltar and offers wider, more open areas on the sides, creating opportunities for long-range sniper attacks.
Liberation Peak
Liberation Peak is popular with snipers because of its wide-open mountainside. The map supports both vehicle combat with plenty of room to maneuver, and allows infantry to move stealthily between towns and buildings for cover.
Empire State
Empire State features wide-open outdoor areas that favor sniper rifles, while the interiors are easily damaged and provide excellent combat distances for players using shotguns and SMGs.
Operation Firestorm
The popular map from Battlefield 3 is back in Battlefield 6! It’s a classic, so you likely already know what makes it great.
Saints Quarter
Saints Quarter, based on Gibraltar’s Old Town, features many winding streets and walkways lined with buildings you can destroy.
New Sobek City
New Sobek City, a recently established development on the outskirts of Cairo, is currently a dangerous battlefield amidst the desert landscape, as it’s still being built.
Mirak Valley
The biggest map available when Battlefield 6 launched is Mirak Valley. It features a massive warzone with a network of twisting trenches for players to explore. Expect total mayhem with all kinds of vehicles in play.
Manhattan Bridge
This map features tight, street-level combat under the Manhattan Bridge. Players can quickly move between vehicles and buildings using submachine guns, or gain a strategic advantage from above with helicopter attacks on the streets.
