Batman Azteca Trailer and Poster Hits Ahead of Comic-Con Panel

A fresh trailer and poster for the upcoming animated film titled “Batman Azteca: Choque De Imperios” (Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires) have been released, with the reveal happening a few days before San Diego Comic-Con. This movie offers a unique perspective on Batman, blending Mesoamerican history and mythology to create a new, culturally rooted interpretation of the renowned DC character.

Story and Cast Details

During the era of the Aztec Empire, the story unfolds around a young boy named Yohualli Coatl. After Spanish Conquistadors brutally kill his father, the village leader Toltecatzin, he escapes to Tenochtitlan. There, Yohualli alerts King Moctezuma about the incoming invaders and trains in the temple dedicated to the bat deity Tzinacan. He then embarks on a mission to safeguard the empire and seek vengeance for his family.
