Eleaneer for PVE

Eleaneer as a supporter

The Shadow Bunny costume is a new support option that boosts your team’s attack power by 60% while reducing the enemy team’s defenses by 50%. While it’s not as strong as some other 5-star support costumes, it’s still a valuable addition to your team.

Comparing with other ATK/M.ATK supports:

  • Dark Saintess Liberta gives a 115% ATK buff
  • Medical Club Teresse gives a 120% ATK / M.ATK buff

So Shadow Bunny’s 60% ATK / M.ATK buff is roughly half the power of other ATK/M.ATK buffers.

Comparing with other vulnerability/amplification supports:

  • Game Club Rafina gives a 100% vulnerability debuff for physical attacks
  • Beach Angel Teresse gives 200% amplification to low hit count teams
  • Onsen Manager Liberta gives 130% amplification to high hit count teams

Shadow Bunny is always 50% vulnerable, but the impact is smaller than what you’d see with other vulnerabilities or amplification methods – it’s less than half as effective.

Shadow Bunny isn’t as strong a support costume compared to many others. Plus, characters specifically designed for support roles – like Liberta, Teresse, and Refi – already have multiple buff costumes. They also get extra benefits from their support skills, such as healing, SP recovery, and increased critical hit rates.

Simply put, Eleaneer won’t be taking the place of any of your current key players in your primary endgame teams.

Even though Eleaneer is already strong on her own, her ability to both boost allies and inflict damage makes her a particularly valuable asset for dark teams when tackling challenging end-game content, as we’ll discuss further.

Besides being useful in challenging ‘dark’ teams, Eleaneer can also be a helpful backup support character for fiend hunts, filling in on either Team 2 or Team 3.

Eleaneer as an attacker

Currently, the 3 best physical dark attackers are Blade, Luvencia and Eleaneer.

Blade excels at countering enemy attacks using her Apostle skill. She deals a lot of damage and is particularly effective against opponents who attack multiple times, as this repeatedly triggers her counterattack. However, she struggles against bosses that only hit a few times. Currently, Blade’s costumes have cooldowns that don’t quite line up – one lasts 3 turns and the other 5, creating a gap in her ability uptime.

Luvencia excels at quickly chaining together attacks. While her base attack power isn’t the highest, her costumes pack a punch, each delivering 8 hits. Plus, both of her costumes have a large area of effect, letting her hit multiple enemies at once.

Eleaneer stands out because her abilities have helpful secondary effects – her Piercing Magic Bow can strip enemies of buffs, and her B-Rank Idol skill silences targets while lowering their defense. While these are great for normal story missions, they aren’t very effective in the toughest end-game content like fiend hunts and guild raids. That’s because those powerful bosses don’t have defense to reduce and are resistant to silence and buff removal.

When it comes to raw damage, Eleaneer’s attacks are solid, but don’t quite reach the power of Blade or Luvencia. Her Piercing Magic Bow hits for 630% total damage, while B-Rank Idol deals 810%. These are decent numbers, but not exceptional. Additionally, her attacks have a limited area of effect and hit enemies three times – an average amount.

With the addition of Shadow Bunny, Eleaneer has become a top-tier choice for both physical fiend hunt dark teams and guild raid dark teams. Her updated skill significantly boosts her own attack power by 100% while also making enemies 50% more vulnerable. This increase to her personal damage output alone makes her a stronger option than Blade and Luvencia, even without considering the benefits she provides to her team.

Eleaneer for PVP

Although Eleaneer is a top tier PVP pick, Shadow Bunny Eleaneer is useless for PVP.

The Piercing Magic Bow Eleaneer costume is highly favored in player-versus-player (PVP) combat because it can cancel enemy buffs, making it particularly effective against the Comeback Idol Granhildr. The B-Rank Idol Eleaneer is also a strong choice, as it both deals damage and prevents opponents from using skills with its silencing effect.

Shadow Bunny isn’t effective in player-versus-player combat. It’s expensive to use, provides a weak benefit, and doesn’t deal any damage, so it’s best to avoid using it in PVP.

Eleaneer’s exclusive weapon

Okay, so Eleaneer’s weapon is pretty cool – it gives a nice attack boost. But honestly, like a lot of exclusive gear, it’s more of a ‘nice to have’ than a necessity. There are just SO many great costume banners going on right now, I think it’s smarter to spend my summoning tickets on those instead of trying for her weapon. I’d rather get a cool outfit!

Conclusion

As a huge Eleaneer fan, I’m so excited about the new Shadow Bunny costume! It’s a total game-changer. It doesn’t just look amazing, but it really boosts her damage – it gives her skills a long-lasting buff that makes her way more powerful. Honestly, it’s pushed her into S-tier territory for dark teams in the toughest content, making her a must-have for any serious player!

Shadow Bunny isn’t very strong by itself if you don’t have Eleaneer’s other outfits. As a support skill, it’s weaker than other 5-star support options.

Shadow Bunny is not limited.
