Rubia for PVE

Due to the latest launch of Maid Bikini Rubia, Rubia has moved from being largely insignificant in Player versus Environment (PVE) scenarios to becoming one of the top single target fire attackers. Notably, she now excels as a potent source of damage over time (DOT), making her an effective partner for damage-dealing characters such as Liatris.

In end-game PVE scenarios, having Maid Name C Rubia on your team can significantly enhance your attack power. This is because Maid Name C Rubia grants a 50% attack boost that persists for 6 turns (essentially three of your own turns). While this buff might seem modest, it’s crucial to maximize Rubia’s potential in battle. Luckily, this 50% attack boost is accessible even at +0 level, so you won’t need to heavily invest resources to gain access to this beneficial buff.

Within the realm of PVE content, particularly high-level fiend hunts and guild raids, Maid Name C Rubia performs adequately but doesn’t stand out as exceptional. Her skill damage is on the lower side, making her less preferred for mob clearance or single target boss fights. Her evasion ability is appreciated, yet it’s seldom utilized outside of the Tower of Salvation.

Rubia for PVP

Ruby, the maid named C, is an excellent pick for Player vs Player (PVP) squads, particularly in assault teams. She’s quite affordable with only 2 Skill Points (SP), boasts a decent Area of Effect (AOE), but what truly sets her apart is her unique feature – a three-hit evasion ability.

Having the capability to dodge three consecutive attacks without fail is quite powerful, as many beloved characters and outfits in player versus player battles only dish out three or fewer strikes: for instance, Justia, Venaka, Eclipse, among others.

White Cat (Rou), Nature’s Claw (Rou), Pool Party Justia, and Apostle Olivier. Among these, Rou and Rubia are unique because they can simultaneously inflict damage and apply evasion, making them particularly worthwhile investments.

The team’s first character, known as Rubia, has a strong comeback on the second player’s turn as Empress Rubia, a marine empress. She inflicts multiple hits and reduces the defense of many enemies by half in a wide area. It’s quite likely that Empress Rubia will deal fatal damage, especially when Maid Rubia, who boosts attack power, is active.

Rubia’s primary drawback lies in her lower-than-average damage multiplier, which might prevent her from dealing the finishing blow against tougher opponents with higher defense stats. Even when enhanced by Liberta and equipped for certain critical hits, she may struggle to defeat foes such as Morphea or Teresse.

Intriguingly, Maid Rubia’s attacks are blocked by another Maid Rubia (through her evasions). However, it’s worth noting that Empress Rubia, with her six strikes and the ability to weaken DEF, is particularly effective at defeating Maid Rubia.

Rubia’s exclusive weapon

Similar to many high-end weapons, Rubia’s exclusive weapon offers an added advantage with its extra stats. However, the impact isn’t monumental in casual gameplay. It is more of a premium item for those who desire it, and it’s not advisable to use tickets on it unless you are a frequent or heavy player.

Conclusion

Currently, you have two banner options featuring Maid Rubia – one with clothing on and another with clothing off. There are plenty of reasons to appreciate both versions equally!

When deciding which version to prioritize, Maid Bikini Rubia offers a better value investment overall due to its DoT amplification buff that can lead to astronomical damage in end-game PVE content. Conversely, although Maid Name C Rubia may not be as powerful in PVE, it remains significant for those invested in Rubia since it grants a small but meaningful ATK buff, enhancing her overall damage potential.

Maid Name C Rubia shines in PVP, as a cheap skill that can both deal damage and apply evasion.

A score of +1 works well for casual PVE gameplay, but if you’re aiming for top scores in PVE or competing in PVP, it would be beneficial to acquire additional character levels.
