Rafina for PVE
Rafina is a character who looks great on paper, but is held back by her poor base ATK stats.
Most characters who focus on physical attacks have an attack stat of about 352. Rafina’s base attack is only 220, significantly lower – less than two-thirds of the typical amount. This directly impacts how much damage she can deal.
While Code Name A Rafina‘s 5×130% damage boost sounds impressive, it doesn’t actually make her as strong as other water attackers when you consider her lower base attack power. For instance, Prophetic Dream Darian is much more powerful, with a base attack of 385, 100% critical damage, and a skill that deals 1,300% damage to the primary target and 900% to all others.
Code Name A Rafina is primarily useful in PvE for two reasons. First, she excels at reducing enemy defense. Her unique attack pattern – a skip-targeting, X-shaped area of effect – sets her apart from other defense-reducing operators. While not every battle requires lowering enemy defense, it’s a valuable ability to have available.
Code Name A Rafina completes Rafina’s set of costumes. Rafina requires all three costumes to consistently use her abilities. Game Club Rafina is a frequently used costume in PvE battles due to its ability to boost all physical damage. Obtaining Code Name A provides a strong follow-up option after using Game Club.
Rafina for PVP
Rafina is a solid choice for defensive PvP battles. While her attack power isn’t very high, she has a lot of health, making her durable. Plus, her ability to reduce enemy defense is really useful for defeating tough opponents in PvP.
Rafina continues to be held back by her weak attack power. While she seems strong on paper, she often can’t deal enough damage in high-level PvP battles. Because of this, Empress Rubia is still the preferred choice for breaking defenses in PvP teams.
Rafina’s exclusive weapon
Rafina’s special weapon is more of a treat than a necessity, and we don’t recommend going out of your way to get it. She isn’t one of the strongest attackers, so investing heavily to boost her damage isn’t really worth it.
Conclusion
Rafina isn’t a top priority to try and get right now. While she has some helpful abilities, she’s not a particularly powerful attacker. We suggest saving your resources for the new characters coming out with Halloween.
