Bad Bunny has once again made Grammys history with his album, “Debí Tirar Más Fotos.” This is his sixth studio album, and it’s been nominated for Album of the Year. He previously received a nomination in this category three years ago for his Spanish-language album, “Un Verano Sin Ti,” making him the first artist to achieve this twice.
In addition to this achievement, Bad Bunny’s song “DtMF” is nominated for both Song of the Year and Record of the Year. This historic nomination makes him the first Spanish-language artist ever to be nominated in all three of these top categories in a single year.
The album received six Grammy nominations, including nods for Best Urban Music Album, Best Global Music Performance for the song “EoO,” and Best Album Cover – a brand new Grammy category this year.
Bad Bunny’s new album, “Debí Tirar Más Fotos,” came out on January 5th through Rimas Entertainment. It follows his previous album, “Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana,” which received a Grammy nomination for Best Urban Music Album.
The new album features 17 songs that combine traditional Puerto Rican folk music with messages of cultural identity and protest. Bad Bunny celebrated the release with a month-long series of 31 performances in his home country of Puerto Rico.
Bad Bunny has already received three Grammy Awards – twice for best urban music album and once for best Latin pop album – and has been nominated ten times in total. This year, he’s the frontrunner at the Latin Grammys with twelve nominations, including bids for Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year for his hit, “Debí Tirar Más Fotos.”
