Near the wrecked cart, there’s a cave. Venture into this cave and you’ll discover that Grakohr has taken Gilyn captive. It seems Grakohr is the one who caused the cart to crash. You have two options: engage in a fight with Grakohr or bring him the cure.

Dealing with Grakohr

Interacting with Grakohr during a chat provides the opportunity for confrontation. Grakohr stands toweringly tall as a colossal giant, making it difficult to overcome him due to his robust arsenal of moves – such as wielding a club, delivering overhead smashes, and destructive area-of-effect foot stamps.

Overcoming Grakohr in battle will earn you 8550 XP and a deadly weapon called “Limb-Taker Two-Handed Melee.” Once you’ve told Gilyn about Grakohr’s defeat, your side quest “A Cure for Rage” within Avowed will be successfully completed.

Instead, consider resolving the issue peacefully by asking “Why did you act that way?” In this case, Grakhor will share how the caravan injured him initially when he sought their assistance. Choose to aid Grakhor, and he will disclose a remedy found in the book from the debris of the caravan’s wreckage.

  3. Jar of Gunpowder Snuff: Found on the west side of the quest marker, the jar is placed on a bookshelf inside the Southern Warden Tower.
