Avicii’s Personal Belongings To Go For Charity Auction 6 Years Following His Tragic Death

As a devoted fan who has danced to Avicii’s beats for countless hours, I can’t help but feel a mix of emotions as I hear about this upcoming auction in his memory. It’s heartwarming to know that his personal items will not only serve as a testament to his extraordinary talent but also contribute to the causes he cared deeply about.

Avicii, a renowned disc jockey from Sweden, tragically passed away in 2018. Six years later, an auction is planned in his honor, with proceeds going to support the causes he passionately advocated for.

According to Stockholms Auktionsverk, the musician behind Waiting For Love has decided to auction off some of his personal belongings to raise funds for charity.

On Monday, August 19, it was announced that the personal items of the Hey Brother artist will be up for sale both at a physical, live event and online.

The statement continued, indicating that the auction was taking place to benefit a charity in memory of the deceased DJ. Notably, the goods for sale had been generously donated by his family, according to PEOPLE’s report.

As a devoted admirer, I’d like to share some exciting news about an upcoming auction. This one goes by the name The Avicii Collection, boasting a stunning array of 267 items. These treasures span various categories, from the artist’s personal wardrobe and footwear to his musical instruments and unique memorabilia.

According to the statement, the auction house will not earn any commission from the sale of Avicii’s items, as all proceeds going directly to the Tim Bergling Foundation are exempt from their fees.

As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but echo the sentiments expressed in the announcement: The world continues to yearn for the presence of the late artist, who was known as Tim Bergling. His absence leaves an indelible void not only in the hearts of his family, friends, and peers, but also among millions of fans scattered across the globe.

According to PEOPLE, the live auction is scheduled for October 1st at 3 p.m., local time. The venue for this event is the renowned Nybrogatan 32 auction house in Stockholm, but you can also place bids on the items from the comfort of your own home online.

The works by the artist I Could Be The One will be unveiled on September 6. The exhibition will run from September 24 to October 1.

According to The Rolling Stones, the Tim Bergling Foundation was established after his passing in 2019, carrying on his philanthropic endeavors by collecting funds for organizations such as House of Hunger, Feeding America, and RED.

According to the Tim Bergling Foundation’s website, the charity actively campaigns for worldwide acknowledgment of suicide as a significant public health issue. Additionally, they strive to reduce the societal stigma surrounding this topic.

The auction house first posted about the event on Instagram. Avicii died on April 20, 2018.
