Avengers: Doomsday Leak Reveals Gambit’s Origin Universe and Return of X-Men

As a die-hard film enthusiast, I can’t help but get excited when I hear whispers of a potential connection between my favorite franchises. Recently, a juicy tidbit has been circulating online suggesting that the upcoming Avengers movie, titled “Avengers: Doomsday,” could shed light on the universe’s origin story for Channing Tatum’s electrifying character, Gambit!

Indeed, Channing Tatum played a role in both Deadpool & Wolverine, contributing to the resistance group. Yet, the movie doesn’t specify the origin of each character.

Avengers: Doomsday Gambit leak

As stated by QuidVacuo, Channing Tatum’s Gambit is part of the same cinematic world as seen in Marvel’s post-credit scene, where Monica Rambeau is joined by Kelsey Grammer’s Beast and encounters her counterpart from another universe, Maria Rambeau.

As a die-hard fan, it seems clear that Channing Tatum’s portrayal of Gambit falls within the Fox Marvel X-Men universe. However, there’s an intriguing possibility that the characterization of Beast could be from another universe (perhaps even the ominous Dark Beast!).

X-Men are back for Avengers: Doomsday

In the upcoming movie “Avengers: Doomsday,” it’s been confirmed that both Channing Tatum and Kelsey Grammer will reprise their roles, joining the original X-Men cast consisting of Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, and James Marsden.

Although Teyonah Parris hasn’t been formally confirmed for Avengers: Doomsday, she’s included in the speculated roster of around 60 characters. Similarly, it’s rumored that Lashana Lynch will reprise her role as Maria Rambeau, and Famke Janssen might come back as Jean Grey Phoenix.
