It’s a really powerful moment – he’s basically pleading with Odin, asking for the strength he needs for the fight ahead. The teaser opens with Thor praying to his father, Odin. He explains that he’s always answered the call to fight and fulfill his duties, but now he faces something new: fatherhood. He asks Odin for the strength to fight one last battle, not to return a warrior, but as a loving presence. He wants to teach his child peace and tranquility – things he himself never experienced. He pleads with Odin to listen to his request.
Before filming began on Thor: Love and Thunder, Chris Hemsworth last played Thor in the movie Doomsday. Also, his daughter, India Rose Hemsworth, will return to play the character Love, just as she did previously.
Marvel recently released a short preview for the upcoming movie ‘Doomsday,’ showing Chris Evans reprising his role as Steve Rogers, better known as Captain America.
