‘Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game’ Gets Exciting New Gameplay Trailer

The fighting game Avatar Legends is moving forward after initial reports suggested it was cancelled. A new trailer has been released, showcasing gameplay and announcing a Closed Alpha Test will be available soon.

Footage from Evo, shared by community ambassador Justin Wong from Avatar, showcases longer matches featuring Aang, Korra, and Zuko. The video gives fans a look at the characters’ movement, both in the air and on the ground, and highlights abilities that let them stay airborne for extended periods.

Korra demonstrates an ability to quickly dodge attacks in the gameplay footage, but it’s currently unknown whether all characters will be able to perform this move. The game will also include assist characters who can help in battles, though specific information about them hasn’t been released yet.

The first closed test of Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game will feature Aang, Korra, Katara, and Zuko as playable characters. Although a specific date hasn’t been announced, the test is expected to begin shortly. The game is currently planned to launch on PC via Steam in 2026.
