Ben Stiller, who played Tugg Speedman in the movie Tropic Thunder, publicly asked the White House to take down a clip they used. He posted on X (formerly Twitter) that they never authorized the use of the footage and don’t want to be involved in what he sees as the administration’s messaging. Stiller emphasized that real war is very different from a movie.
