Michael Amo (known for *Pure* and *The Listener*) and Will Pascoe (*Orphan Black*) will lead the creative team on *John Carpenter Presents*. This Canadian series aims to capture the look and feel – including the music – of John Carpenter’s films. Carpenter famously composed the scores for almost all of his movies, like *Halloween* and *The Thing*, not only creating iconic characters like Michael Myers but also the memorable music linked to them. The series will be structured like *American Horror Story*, with each season telling one complete story, rather than being an episodic anthology similar to *The Twilight Zone*.

Writer Rob Shearman (known for the 2005 episode “Dalek” and other related works) shared his thoughts in *Doctor Who Magazine* (as noted by *Den of Geek*). He described a fluctuating relationship with the show, currently feeling distanced from it. He believes the series is currently in a particularly difficult state, pointing to Ncuti Gatwa’s unexpected exit and the appearance of Billie Piper without further explanation as signs that the show has effectively ended, at least for now.
