As a huge Depeche Mode fan, I’m really excited about their concert documentary coming out on October 28, 2025! It features footage from their incredible ‘Memento Mori’ tour stops in Mexico City, and it’s more than just a concert film – it really digs into themes of life and death, and beautifully incorporates Mexican culture. It’s directed by Fernando Frías de la Parra, with stunning visuals by Damián García, and narrated by Daniel Giménez Cacho. The film focuses on Dave Gahan and Martin Gore, and it’s especially poignant because it reflects on the band’s history and legacy after the loss of Andy Fletcher, using both new footage and older clips. I was lucky enough to see it at Tribeca earlier this year, and they’re also releasing a live album alongside it, which is awesome!

If you enjoy stories about dramatic physical changes, you’re probably familiar with films like ‘The Fly’ and ‘Videodrome’. However, even if you think you know David Cronenberg’s work well, his earlier films still have a few unexpected twists.

Screenshots recently published by MP1st suggest the next game will take players back to Greece, where the original games were set. They also hint at the return of a significant enemy from Kratos’ history.

Nezuko’s Blood Demon Art causes her blood to burst into flames upon contact. These flames specifically burn demons and their powers, but leave humans unharmed. Interestingly, if the flames touch a Nichirin blade, it makes the sword more effective at fighting demons, turning potentially dangerous situations into opportunities for her friends.

As a big fan of anime, I’m always impressed by how cleverly ‘Detective Conan’ is put together. The main character, Conan, is this little kid with incredible detective skills – he can figure out who committed a crime using just the smallest clues, often leaving the adults looking totally lost! He’s a gadget whiz, too, able to manage tricky situations and even control entire rooms without the bad guys knowing he’s there. What I really love is how the show throws him into these fast-paced puzzles where he has to set elaborate traps to catch the real criminal. It’s just brilliant!
