The Black Pearl is famous as the fastest ship in the Caribbean, easily recognized by its black sails and dark hull which allow it to sneak up on other ships at night. It’s repeatedly stolen and reclaimed by Jack Sparrow and Hector Barbossa, leading to constant conflict over who controls it. The Pearl’s speed and maneuverability are crucial to Jack’s plans, helping him escape from both the law and his enemies. Many of the most important chases and fights in the series center around which character currently commands the ship.

While promoting his new show, Lazarus, Sam Claflin told ComicBook he’d be eager to play Philip Swift again. He last appeared as the character in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, alongside Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey’s Syrena. Claflin joked that fans should ask the producers to bring him back, saying he’d ‘love to revisit that world.’

In Greek myth, the Chimera was a fearsome creature with the body of a lion, a goat’s head sprouting from its back, and a serpent as a tail. Born to the monsters Typhon and Echidna, it wreaked havoc on Lycia until the hero Bellerophon slew it. While artwork varied – sometimes showing the goat head higher on its back, and emphasizing the snake tail – the Chimera was always a combination of three beasts. Over time, the creature became a symbol for something impossible or unreal, likely because of its strange, patchwork appearance.

Robert Reed, best known as Mike Brady, continued to act on television after the show ended, appearing in popular miniseries and making guest appearances on other programs. He participated in several Brady Bunch reunions and TV movies, helping to keep the show’s legacy alive. Beyond television, Reed also enjoyed performing on stage and generously shared his acting knowledge by teaching.
