On June 24, 1947, pilot Kenneth Arnold saw nine unusual, boomerang-shaped objects flying rapidly near Mount Rainier. He calculated their speed by observing how quickly they moved between mountain peaks, and the media soon began calling these objects “flying saucers” because of his description. This sighting sparked many similar reports nationwide that summer. The U.S. Air Force collected statements about the incident and filed it away as one of the earliest UFO cases.

Discovered in 1898 by a farmer named Olof Öhman near Kensington, Minnesota, the stone is a slab of greywacke with runic writing that dates back to 1362. Experts have studied the stone many times, looking at the language, the style of the runes, and how it has aged. It’s currently on display at the Runestone Museum in Alexandria, Minnesota. The main question surrounding the stone is whether it was carved by Vikings in the Middle Ages or by Scandinavian immigrants much later.

This creature is also linked to the experience of feeling unable to move or breathe while sleeping, which folklore explained as the Alp’s doing.

This divine gift connects him to Princess Zelda and the villain Ganon, forming the complete Triforce. Courage often appears when Link needs it most, giving him the strength to continue even when things seem hopeless. It also explains why Link appears again and again throughout the series – he’s a single, heroic soul reborn across time.
