Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’ tells the story of how the atomic bomb was created, focusing on the experiences of J. Robert Oppenheimer and those who worked with him. The movie jumps between different points in time and uses both color and black-and-white footage to distinguish between personal viewpoints and factual events. It was a major awards winner, taking home seven Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Director. Cillian Murphy and Robert Downey Jr. both won Oscars for their acting performances.

Edgar Wright’s latest film is a fresh take on Stephen King’s chilling story about a dangerous game show. In the show, contestants called “runners” try to survive for a month while being hunted by professionals, all for a chance to win a large cash prize. Glen Powell stars as Ben Richards, and the film also features William H. Macy, Lee Pace, Michael Cera, Emilia Jones, Colman Domingo, and Josh Brolin. Wright wrote the script with Michael Bacall, and the music is by Steven Price, with cinematography by Chung-hoon Chung. It will be released in theaters on November 14, 2025.

Kyogai was once a skilled drummer, but he was shamed and let go when his playing declined. This deeply hurt him, leading him to withdraw and become obsessed with proving himself again. Muzan, sensing his desperation for approval, turned him into a demon. Kyogai then crafted a mansion to give him complete control over the sounds within it. Being demoted among the Twelve Kizuki was another blow, and his rage seemed directly linked to his desire for recognition.

As a huge ‘One Piece’ fan, this episode really hit me hard. We find out how deeply Arlong had his hooks in Nami’s village – through a truly awful Marine officer named Nezumi, who steals all of Nami’s hard-earned money. It’s devastating to watch Nami, pushed to her absolute limit, even try to erase the tattoo symbolizing her suffering. But then, in a moment that gave me chills, she finally asks Luffy for help, and he responds by placing his straw hat on her head – a gesture of trust and support that means everything. The episode beautifully builds towards the confrontation with Arlong, showing the entire crew walking towards Arlong Park, united and ready to fight. It ends at such a powerful moment, freezing that image of them marching together – a truly iconic scene in the series.

Before the adventure on the ‘Mugen Train’ begins, Kyojuro Rengoku shows his kind heart by buying several boxed lunches from a vendor. He politely thanks both the elderly woman selling them and her granddaughter. He continues to be friendly and considerate, greeting train staff and passengers and making sure everyone is doing well before departure. His repeated exclamation of “delicious” adds a cheerful touch as he finds his seat. This establishes him as a protector, looking out for everyone on board even before any threat arises.

Early in the ‘Naruto’ series, after the incident involving Mizuki, Iruka understands how much Naruto is struggling and defends him, both as a student and as an individual. He gives Naruto his own headband, officially making Naruto a ninja of Konoha. This gesture gives Naruto acceptance within the ninja academy and provides the stable, supportive adult relationship he desperately needed. Iruka’s support continues to be a source of strength for Naruto throughout his challenges.
