An early version of the film included a mistake: American flags displayed 50 stars, even though the country only had 48 states in 1945. Alaska and Hawaii weren’t added until 1959, and the 50-star flag wasn’t officially released until 1960. News reports at the time pointed out this inaccuracy, but also noted that most of the film used historically accurate flags. Some reports suggested the error wasn’t present in all versions, meaning it might have been fixed later. Once you notice it, the incorrect flags are quite obvious.

Upon arriving at this Grand Line island, the crew immediately faces a challenge: get in, survive, and figure things out. The crew also quickly learns about Vivi’s background and how the island is connected to a bigger plot, saving them from needing to search elsewhere. They depart with a clear new goal and everything neatly resolved.

Following his defeat by Ash at the Silver Conference, Gary finally puts their long-standing rivalry to rest with a show of respect and starts to think about what he wants to do next. He returns to Pallet Town and decides to stop battling and instead pursue a career as a Pokémon researcher. He recognizes how much Ash has improved and shares a final, respectful moment with him before Ash heads to the Hoenn region. This change from a flashy battler to a dedicated scientist marks a new direction for Gary’s character in the ‘Pokémon’ series.

Lorene Scafaria, the writer and director behind the popular film Hustlers, will be writing and directing a new movie. Marc Platt, a producer known for adapting Broadway hits like Wicked for the big screen, will produce it.

Andrew Stanton is writing and directing the new movie, with Jessica Choi producing. Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, and Tony Hale are all returning to voice their beloved characters Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, and Forky. Joining them are new cast members Anna Faris, Ernie Hudson, Conan O’Brien, and Greta Lee, who will voice a new character named Lilypad.
