In a quiet Danish village, two deeply religious sisters live a simple, modest life. Their routine is disrupted when a French refugee, Babette, comes to work for them as a housekeeper. After years of service, Babette wins the lottery and decides to express her gratitude by preparing an extravagant French feast for the entire community. As the unusual ingredients arrive, differences in culture become apparent. Ultimately, the elaborate meal profoundly affects the reserved villagers, mending old conflicts and bringing joy through the experience of delicious food.

The network just released a 30-second teaser for the new season. It features JD, Turk, and Elliot walking through Sacred Heart Hospital, set to the song “Big Dawg” by Quise.B. JD playfully greets a group of new interns with “I’m back, baby!”, but they look confused because they haven’t met him before.

This movie is based on Philip Pullman’s novel and follows Lyra Belacqua and her shape-shifting companion, Pantalaimon, as they journey north to rescue children taken by a shadowy group called the Magisterium. The film creates a large and imaginative world with creatures like armored bears and witches, leaving viewers wanting more. It concludes with an unresolved ending, hinting at the events in the rest of the book series. Unfortunately, due to financial problems and disagreements over its religious themes, the planned sequels were never made.
