Author Colleen Hoover Deactivates Her Instagram Handle Amid Justin Baldioni’s & Blake Lively’s Controversial Legal Battle

It seems that author Colleen Hoover made a significant move that caught everyone’s attention. Her Instagram account appears to have been temporarily deactivated, coinciding with the ongoing legal dispute involving Justin Baldoni, Blake Lively, and Ryan Reynolds, as reported by The Daily Mail.

Currently, when people visit her social media profile, instead of seeing the photos she had earlier shared, they encounter a message stating, “I’m sorry, this page cannot be found.

According to the report, it isn’t explicitly stated when Hoover deactivated her account, but based on a Reddit post, it appears she did so on Tuesday, January 21st.

Following reports, it appears that the actress from Jane The Virgin has recently filed a $400 million lawsuit against her husband Ryan Reynolds, her spouse Leslie Sloane (publicist), and herself.

According to The Daily Mail report, Baldoni took this action following his previous legal action against The New York Times. In this lawsuit, he demanded $250 million in response to allegations by the Shallows actress that he had sexually harassed her and orchestrated a negative campaign against her.

In December 2024, as accusations against the director of “Five Feet Apart” surfaced, the writer of the related novel publicly expressed her backing for the lead actor of “Age of Adeline” through a post on Instagram.

She wrote in her caption, “@blakelively, you’ve consistently been truthful, generous, encouraging, and understanding since our first encounter. I want to express my gratitude for being the person you are – always authentic, never changing, never fading.

Additionally, the actress’s past acting colleagues from The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants – America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn, and Alexis Bledel – similarly express their backing for Lively.
