In 2016, Nintendo brought back nostalgia with a miniature version of its original NES console. Though it resembled the classic grey box from the 80s and 90s, this new version plugged into modern TVs and came with a selection of built-in games. It was a huge hit, and in 2018, Nintendo released an even more popular SNES Classic Edition. Since then, many other companies have released smaller versions of classic consoles with pre-loaded games. Atari, however, is simply re-releasing its original 2600 console with a fresh coat of paint and PAC-MAN branding.
Bandai Namco is releasing a special Atari 2600+ console themed around the classic game PAC-MAN. It’s bright yellow and black with ghost designs, and includes a cartridge with two PAC-MAN games. It also comes with a special *PAC-MANbranded wireless joystick. The console will cost $169.99, which seems a bit pricey for what it is, though that’s just my opinion.

You can get the PAC-MAN joystick in five different colors inspired by the game’s ghosts: Yellow (PAC-MAN), Blue (INKY), Red (BLINKY), Pink (PINKY), and Orange (CLYDE). Each extra CX40+ Wireless Joystick costs $39.99.
A new 2-in-1 cartridge lets you play both the original PAC-MAN from the Atari 2600 and a brand new, arcade-style version called PAC-MAN 7800. Bandai also announced other classic Atari games: Galaga, Dig Dug, and Xevious, each costing $32.99. You can purchase all three of those, plus the Pac-Man 2-in-1 cartridge, as part of the High Score Bundle for $139.99. Just remember, you’ll need an Atari console to play any of these games!

You can purchase the Atari 2600+ PAC-MAN Edition right there.
