Assassin’s Creed Shadows x Attack On Titan Crossover Launches Tomorrow

Just a week after the release of the Assassin’s Creed Mirage Valley of Memory DLC, Ubisoft Quebec will launch a significant new update for Assassin’s Creed Shadows – Title Update 1.1.6 – on Tuesday, November 25th, and it will be available to all players for free.

Update 1.16 for Shadows introduces a new story arc, marking the third official one for the game. Naoe and Yasuke will embark on a humorous quest called “A Puzzlement,” gaining new abilities and tackling a mystery connected to the Isu. However, the biggest news with this update is a brand-new collaboration with another property.

Between November 25th and December 22nd, players can experience a special crossover event where the world of Shadows’ Sengoku-era Japan meets the popular Attack on Titan franchise.

This is Shadows’ second time teaming up with another popular franchise. They previously collaborated with Dead by Daylight in May.

The latest story arc in Attack on Titan introduces a new and enigmatic group aiming to conquer the land. They plan to achieve this using a unique Titan-Shifter – someone who can become a Titan while still maintaining their mind and abilities.

A strangely-dressed woman named Ada tried to save a Titan-Shifter, but couldn’t. She then asks Naoe and Yasuke for help in rescuing him from a Crystal Cave before his captor, Albert, can use his powers to harm people in Japan.

Ada will give players their main quest in the crossover event. You can find her in the Yamashiro Region, just north of Hanazo Tower. As you progress, explore the Crystal Cave to discover special rewards, including new banners and statues for your Hideout, all themed around Attack on Titan.

After finishing the special crossover quest, players will receive a new crystal katana for Naoe. They can also buy Titan-inspired samurai armor for Yasuke and a Survey Corps uniform for Naoe, both available in the Attack on Titan Dual Pack—just like the armor options found in the Dead by Daylight Dual Pack.

In addition to everything else, the new Attack on Titan event lets Naoe learn a unique version of Yasuke’s powerful war kick. Yasuke, in turn, will learn how to subdue enemies without killing them, leading to a fun, practice duel between the two.
