
Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be available on the new Nintendo Switch 2 on December 2, 2025. Players will be able to enjoy the game both on their TV and on the go, using the touchscreen, and will even be able to continue their progress across different platforms through Ubisoft Connect.
The new Switch 2 will launch with all previously released updates already installed. However, the first major expansion, ‘Claws of Awaji,’ will be available as a separate download in early 2026.
The game will be released in both digital and physical versions. The physical version will include a key card to activate the game.
