Ubisoft recently unveiled a timeline for upcoming modifications and additions to Assassin’s Creed Shadows, providing information on what players can expect in the following weeks and months.
The upcoming update for the game on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S is scheduled for July 29, 2025. This update will include a New Game+ mode that can be accessed following the completion of the final mission. This mode resets the storyline and objectives, as well as your discovered locations, but keeps your level, skills, equipment, knowledge rank, and hideout progress.
In this latest upgrade, we’re not only boosting the maximum character level from 60 to 80 but also adding extra mastery and expertise levels for your hideout, along with enhancements. Further advancement features are planned for rollout during the summer months.
Starting from early September, you can look forward to the arrival of an enhancement aimed at improving your lifestyle. This upgrade includes a highly anticipated function that allows you to bypass different times of day. Furthermore, it’s going to bring about these modifications:
- The world map unfogging after completing viewpoint synchronization (per region).
- A new Forge upgrade level to reach Mythic (from Epic) and Artifact (from Legendary) equipment rarities.
- Hideout Updates and Upgrades.
- Uncapped framerate for cutscenes (PC only).
- Additional goodies that may be familiar to long-time series fans.
- Further bug fixes and stability improvements.
In just a few days, specifically on September 16th, you can expect the arrival of the Claws of Awaji DLC. This update brings a fresh region, a new weapon, skills, equipment, an enemy faction, and a brand-new story chapter to explore.
