The TV couple shared both their baby’s name and the reason behind the choice. They named their newborn son Hayden, a decision made by the baby’s mother.
How did Jared Haibon express his excitement over his newborn?
I had the pleasure of speaking with the media recently, and I couldn’t be more excited to share some wonderful news. On July 22, 2024, at 2:29 p.m., our beautiful baby boy, Hayden Cruise Haibon, entered the world. He weighed in at a healthy 8 lbs., 7 oz., and was born right here at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. My wife is doing well too, and we are both overjoyed to begin this new chapter in our lives as a family of three.
In addition, he mentioned that both the baby and mother are doing well. Witnessing Dawson’s reaction as he met his little brother Hayden for the first time was just as heartwarming as we had envisioned it would be. Dawson is brimming with affection and couldn’t help but stroke Hayden repeatedly.
Iaconetti and Haibon spoke excitedly about their new baby’s name while chatting with each other. Iaconetti mentioned that they brainstormed potential names by considering things they both liked. The father of two revealed, “With my love for Star Wars, we jested about naming him Anakin. Meanwhile, Ashley fondly recalled her teenage crush on Hayden Christensen. This led us to the name Hayden.”
After giving it some thought for a reasonable amount of time, due to its alliteration with our surname, we eventually believed it was an appropriate choice.

Iaconetti and Haibon crossed paths on Bachelor in Paradise’s season 2 set in 2015. They hit it off due to shared passions, and viewers watched as their romance unfolded through the years. In an interview from 2018, Ashley recounted her initial encounter with Haibon, “As I descended the steps in Paradise, my gaze fell upon him at the bar. An unusual sensation took hold of me – I was inexplicably pulled towards him. It was an undeniable case of love at first sight.”
